Georgia is very different from florida. I would move there in a heartbeat if I could. And maybe I can. What I was impressed about the most was the trees. Some people might call it bush, but I really like the more conservative atmosphere. If there is one thing that everyone keeps talking about, it is the prices of houses in Georgia. A small two bed-room apartment can buy a nice 3 bedroom house in Georgia and almost a bigger 4 bedroom one. I was told that Georgia has the most churches per square mile in the United States. It could very well be true because I saw a lot of them. There are also a lot of black people which is nice and alot of universities.
I was there visiting with a friend Faith-Ann, who I know from jamaica. We spent the fist day in downtown Atlanta where we visited the Bodies exhibit (http://www.bodiestheexhibition.com/) at the atlanta civic center and then we strolled over to the georgia aquarium (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Aquarium). Both were very good except a bit overpriced maybe. Probably one of the highlights of the day was the jamaican restaurant we stopped to pick up jerk chicken on the way back to her house. Felt just like home, complete with a drunk dread dancing to the music out front. I hope to go back soon.
